Blackbook Ink recently completed a project for Greenwood Early Education Centre in Katoomba, which involved painting art murals that served both as signage and as an enhancement to the overall brand image. The client specifically requested signage and artwork for the carpark wall facing the main entrance. To align with their existing branding, we hand-painted their logo on the wall, using vibrant colors in the background to make it visually striking. Additionally, we incorporated a charming green frog character in a geometric style, creating an engaging focal point for the children.
The success of the carpark wall project led to an additional commission from the client, this time to transform the outdoor play section. Maintaining consistency, we used the same color palette as the previous wall and applied a similar pattern to the sheds and wall. As an added touch, we painted a kookaburra and butterflies, bringing a sense of nature and whimsy to the area.
By investing in these art murals, Greenwood Early Education Centre greatly benefited from an enhanced signage presence and an elevated brand image. The hand-painted signage not only provided clear direction and visual appeal but also reinforced the center’s identity. Furthermore, the art murals created a vibrant and engaging environment for both children and visitors, fostering a sense of wonder, imagination, and connection with the natural world.
