Blackbook Ink was approached by Bangkok Bites, a new Thai restaurant located on King St in Newtown, to create a graffiti mural that would embody an urban design. Understanding the client’s vision, our talented artists, Asone and Sektor, collaborated to develop a graffiti-themed wall that would seamlessly blend with the vibrant graffiti culture in the area. The mural features graffiti lettering, a classic b-boy character, and buildings in the background, effectively highlighting the words “Bangkok Bites” and giving the restaurant the authentic look of a Newtown graffiti wall.
The outcome of this project exceeded the client’s expectations, as the restaurant now showcases a striking mural that perfectly complements its urban setting. The graffiti artwork not only adds character and charm to the establishment but also aligns with the artistic culture of the neighborhood, making it a standout feature on King St. With its eye-catching design, Bangkok Bites is sure to attract attention and create a memorable dining experience for patrons.
Integrating a graffiti mural into a restaurant setting offers numerous benefits for hospitality business owners. Firstly, it adds a unique and visually captivating element that sets the establishment apart from competitors. The mural serves as a form of artistic expression that resonates with customers and reinforces the restaurant’s brand identity. Additionally, it creates an immersive and vibrant atmosphere, enhancing the overall dining experience and leaving a lasting impression on guests.
