Name: Barback games
Method: Spray paint
Client: Fernet Branca
Location: Home Night Club, Darling Harbour, NSW
Year: 2015
Blackbook Ink had the honor of participating in the Barback games organized by Fernet Branca at Home Nightclub. Our involvement in this project required us to carefully consider the project brief, as the event was taking place in a nightclub setting. To meet the client’s requirements, we designed and constructed a plywood frame measuring 3m high by 2.4m wide. Our skilled artist, Sektor, embarked on creating a captivating artwork featuring a multi-colored eagle. To accommodate the tight schedule, Sektor completed 60% of the artwork before the event commenced, and then finalized the remaining portion within a couple of hours of the event’s start.
During the event, Asone complemented the live painting by signing customized bar blades for all attendees. The artwork served as a focal point, encouraging guests to interact and have their photos taken in front of it. To further engage attendees, we encouraged them to share their photos on social media with the hashtag #bbgs as they waited in line to receive their own personalized bar blades.
The outcome of the project was highly successful, as it generated significant buzz and engagement among the event attendees. The interactive nature of the artwork and the customized bar blades added a unique and memorable element to the experience, creating a positive association with the Fernet Branca brand.
