Blackbook Ink took on a unique and unconventional project to create dust art on a couple of cars, marking the highly anticipated release of the Mad Max Game in September 2015 at Gasoline Motors Co. Warner Bros approached us to be part of this initiative, where a select group of “dust artists” were tasked with creating artworks on cars using only dust, drawing inspiration from the Mad Max game.
Recognizing that this project was beyond our usual scope of work, we dedicated time to research and experimentation prior to the event. Our team delved into the possibilities and challenges of working with dust as a medium, ensuring that we were well-prepared to bring this ambitious concept to life. While our expertise primarily lies in creating graffiti murals using spray paint, we embraced the opportunity to stretch our creative boundaries and deliver a truly memorable and immersive experience.
The outcome of the dust art project exceeded expectations, leaving a lasting impression on both the client and the audience. It showcased our team’s adaptability, creativity, and willingness to take on complex and out-of-the-box projects. We leveraged our research and experimentation to create captivating artworks that resonated with the theme of the Mad Max game and captured the spirit of the event.
At Blackbook Ink, we thrive on challenges and are always ready to tackle unique and unconventional projects. Whether you require promotional art using paint, dust, or any other medium, our team is eager to bring your vision to life.
