Blackbook Ink was approached by OG Dogs in 2016 to develop their brand identity, a comprehensive breakdown of which will be featured in an upcoming post. Once the branding aspect was established, we had a clear vision of the desired business image: a blend of fun and quirkiness. We brainstormed ideas and decided to incorporate a pug as a playful representation, playing off the word “dogs” in the business name.
To add further character and appeal, we drew inspiration from the owner’s love for hip hop culture. We envisioned a pug with an afro, stylish oversized glasses, and a prominent gold chain, evoking a Run DMC aesthetic. With this concept in mind, we created a mock-up that resonated perfectly with the client’s vision, receiving immediate approval without any revisions required.
In addition to our design services, we also offer social media content creation. You can find a video on the left, showcasing the process of bringing the food truck artwork to life. This video can be used effectively on various social media platforms, an additional service we provide to our clients.
If you own a restaurant or cafe and are intrigued by the prospect of incorporating unique artwork into your establishment but are unsure about the next steps, we’ve got you covered. We have a detailed post outlining our process, which can guide you through the entire journey. Alternatively, feel free to reach out to us directly, and we will be more than happy to assist you with your project, turning your ideas into a stunning reality that sets your business apart from the competition.
