Stamford Hotel reached out to Blackbook Ink with an exciting project: the opening of a new Argentinian cuisine restaurant named “La Boca.” The client’s brief was extensive, requiring our team of artists to paint two feature walls, design and install signage, and create canvas art. We took on this significant undertaking, dedicating over two weeks to complete the job, working late nights from 9 pm to 5 am.
For the first feature wall, our mural painters skillfully recreated the vibrant ambiance of a La Boca street, incorporating multiple interactive characters. On the second feature wall, we transformed a plain gyprock surface into a visually stunning wooden wall through faux mural techniques. Sektor meticulously hand-painted the restaurant’s logo and various words across the wall, skillfully applying airbrush techniques to bring the characters to life.
In addition to the mural art, our team was responsible for strategically placing quotes as signage throughout the restaurant. Window graphics were also applied to the exterior windows, catching the attention of passersby and creating awareness of the new restaurant.
The vibrant colors and captivating designs of the mural art completely transformed the restaurant, infusing it with a sense of fun and vibrancy. The new environment not only delighted customers but also provided a more enjoyable and inspiring workspace for the restaurant staff.
