The esteemed team from Blackbook Ink had the pleasure of participating in the grand opening of the new New Balance shoes store at Pitt St Mall. To celebrate the occasion, New Balance offered customers an exclusive opportunity: those who spent over $150 would have the chance to acquire a pair of custom-designed kicks. We assembled a highly skilled team of eight graffiti artists, including Mr G, Devel, Nerve, Morbid, Sektor, Ears, Pain, and Exit, ensuring a diverse range of artistic styles and capabilities.
Throughout the day, our talented artists diligently worked from 8 am to 7 pm, attentively listening to each customer’s preferences and translating their ideas into personalized shoe designs. The result was a remarkable feat: over 200 pairs of custom kicks were created, leaving customers delighted with their unique and one-of-a-kind footwear.
The client’s reception of our team’s work was overwhelmingly positive.
