Blackbook Ink was tasked with a significant project for Sydney Water at their Bundeena pumping station facility, located next to the local skate park. This building had become a frequent target for tagging and vandalism. To address the issue, Blackbook Ink proposed a solution that would not only deter further vandalism but also transform the building into a visually appealing space through high-quality graffiti art created by renowned Australian graffiti artists.

A Creative Approach: Graffiti as Art

Our talented artist, Sektor, took the lead on this project, expertly incorporating graffiti lettering into the mural. This design approach aimed to capture the attention of other graffiti artists, while ensuring the artwork would be appreciated as street art by the general public. The Artwork: Sharks and Octopus

As the focal point of the mural, Sektor painted a striking shark mural on the main wall, drawing inspiration from the nearby ocean and frequent shark sightings in the area. On the side wall, he created a captivating octopus mural, where graffiti lettering entwined with the tentacles, adding a unique and intricate touch to the artwork.
